The first ever GT Lax North Texas Fall Clinic boasted 130 girls from various programs across the Metroplex. We had a strong showing from Keller, Southlake, Frisco & McKinney! Thanks to all the area coaches and parents for your support!!
GTLax is excited to announce the launch of our club team TEXAS INFERNO. Our mission is to help Grow Texas Lacrosse one player at a time. In order to really help grow the game, we are focusing on the YOUTH MOVEMENT & working our way up. For the 2012 Summer season, we are accepting any players interested in taking their game to the next level.
FUTURES---for girls entering grades 1st-8th that want to improve their game but stay locally.
ACADEMY---for girls entering grades 5th – 9th. They will practice twice a week and travel to Chicago at the end of the summer to participate in the Indian Prairie Showdown.
ELITE---for girls entering grades 5th – 9th that want to take it one step further than the Academy experience by attending a Camp at Syracuse University. They will practice 2-3x a week and compete in the Indian Prairie Showdown.
Tuesday night Practices will be held in the Grapevine area
Wednesday night Practices (ELITE ONLY) will be held in the Hebron area
Thursday night Practices will be held in the McKinney/Allen/Frisco area
We know that Coaching is the most important part of helping grow the game. In the past 6 months we have brought some the most experienced Division I college coaches to North Texas to work with your daughters. That will not change as we launch our TEXAS INFERNO. Per NCAA Rules, we cannot give specific names until the end of the lacrosse season. We will also welcome local coaches into our club and help grow the coaches “game” as well.
GTLax’s long term goal is to carry our TEXAS INFERNO players through their high school years and help guide them in the recruiting process should they have the ability & desire to go that route. With a Division I college coach with years of coaching & recruiting experience coming on board, we believe we are the right people to help guide you & your daughter on their lacrosse journey.

Habits, Opportunity, and Training
Philosophy
Greater Texas Lacrosse and TX Infernos main focus will be to help our players reach the next level in academics and athletics. We will work tirelessly to improve your LAX IQ on and off the field. Each TX Inferno team will practice two to three times per week during the summer months (May, June & July) and one time per week during the fall months (September, October, November). In addition to the regularly scheduled practices sessions, Inferno offers several one-day instructional sessions conducted by top collegiate coaches and players in the country to teach players the latest skills and strategies in womens lacrosse.
TX Inferno is an Elite club that will travel East to play against the best competition the girls game has to offer. Girls at the high school level will have the opportunity to play in front of hundreds of college coaches. Girls at the youth & middle school level will focus on improving their skill and getting ready to take that next step. Our goal is to put the passion of lacrosse in you and make the sport as fun as possible while you improve every day!
We believe that each girl should stay LOYAL to her roots. So every player picked to play for the TX Inferno MUST have a home team either through her high school, middle school or youth program.

GTLax Indoor Winter Girls Lacrosse Camp
Frisco Indoor Sports
Dec 18-20th
The GTLax Winter Lacrosse Camp for GIRLS is a teaching and instructional camp being offered at Frisco Indoor Sports. Some of the best college coaches in the game today will be on hand to help each girl improve her game and continue growing her love of the game. Players will be broken down by age and experience. Separate instruction will be given to all of the players who are brand new to the game with no lacrosse experience whatsoever. The Winter Camp will focus on individual and team skills that will help them take the field with confidence come spring. We will work on offensive and defensive concepts as well as specialized instruction for goalies.
GIRLS YOUTH CAMP
When: December 18-20 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Total Instruction Time: 6 hours
Who: Girls in grades 2nd-6th and beginners
Cost: $150*
GIRLS MS/HS CAMP
When: December 18-20 | 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Total Instruction Time: 9 hours
Who: Girls in grades 7th-12th
Cost: $225*

Girls Lacrosse Rocks--Oklahoma

The GTLax group headed to Oklahoma to help out with Girls Lacrosse Rocks this year.
Girls Lacrosse Rocks is a morning clinic followed by small sided games after lunch. Fun games and contest were mixed into the day as well.
